I Won’t Be Stopped.

“The Phoenix Principle” by Coach Hulme

Chapter 17

One year ago today…

💥Boom!… Let’s get right into it today! Stock market crashing, schools closed, businesses closed, grocery stores ransacked… WHAT IS THIS WORLD COMING TO??? ⁣

I don’t know… ask yourself. Look yourself⁣
dead in the mirror and ask, “Is this it? Will I be stopped?” NO!!! HECK NO!!! You need to look at yourself and tell yourself, “I WILL NOT BE STOPPED!”⁣

You need to keep going… you need to keep forging forward… you need to be positive and helpful to your family and community. Try to be normal even though it’s a little weird right now. Do everything in your power to not stop and give up.⁣

What did I do today? I got up and went to Workout #8. They just shut our gym down until further notice, and I was able to get one last workout in “at the gym” for a while. WILL I STOP… NO!!! Many people at home are worrying, complaining, and have stopped living. This is a an amazing chance to be with loved ones, create new memories, press reset on your life if you needed a chance to rest.⁣

When we get through this… are you going to be the person who gave up or are you⁣
going to be the person who is ready for the next chapter? I know it’s tough right now… but just like any workout, you don’t build anything or improve if you don’t go through a little struggle and pain. Life is that right now… But every moment when it gets to be too much… remind yourself:⁣

“I WILL NOT BE STOPPED!”⁣

Today…

It is kind of funny how relevant this is today, right? I feel like the same mantra is occurring today as it was one year ago exactly. How unbelievable ironic?

How was your last year? These words were written exactly a year ago. Looking back, what did you accomplish during this time? Did you lock yourself away and wait for the rainbows to start shining again? Or did you press the reset button and start something new for your life?

While this year has been extremely painstaking for most, it has been a great opportunity to transform yourself into something that you never thought yourself capable of. I feel like this opportunity is what I call the “Phoenix Principle”, where your life burns up into a ball of flames and come crashing down into ashes. While that may sound extremely dark and hideous, the true beauty comes after the ashes have cooled and formed. Just when all hope is lost, a piece of you rises from the ashes in a huge spectacle of light, and your pure beauty is revealed! The Phoenix rises more powerful and magnificent than before it burned up into a ball flames.

Does this sound like your life the past year?

Did you rise from the ashes of all the junk that has occurred to become stronger than you once were? This last year may have been disguised as devastation and ruin, but I truly hope this past year has been a year of great triumph for you!

We are moving into a new stage – the next chapter of our lives. The world is starting to recover. Fears are calming down. Vaccines are being released. Business that were once shuttered, are re-opening their doors. The timid are peeking out of their holes, and discovering there is a beautiful world that has been waiting for them to take victory over!

The true victory is knowing there are opportunities for you to seize even when it doesn’t seem like it. I encourage you all to take a look, and count how many things happened to you this year, whether good or bad. Add them up. I bet, even though certain times were tough, there was something that was positive that could help you today. If for some reason, you can count “zero” positive things that occurred for you, then you have the opportunity to change that today. It is time for your next chapter.

The Phoenix has risen and screams, “I WILL NOT BE STOPPED!”

You are that Phoenix.
