Chapter 13
HEART.
Today’s blog is based of one of my social media post that talks about giving your all to a cause. When I originally posted it on my platform, I was inspired to encourage others to believe that anything is possible with desire and a burning fire towards achieving. Just like then as it is now, I still believe that great things are attainable to those that seek it…
Do you want something really bad? If you do, you may have to fight tooth and nail to accomplish your goals. Some people have it easy, but most of us don’t.
That’s where your HEART comes in. You have to have stamina, grit, inner strength and desire that drives you to never give up. You will get knocked down in life… PICK YOURSELF UP! Never quit, even when things seem at its worst, because there is a light at the end of the tunnel… it’s there waiting to shine on you when you accomplish your goals!!!
People who have HEART are special people. I know you have it in you! Dig deep and unlock your hidden potential! Take chances… FIGHT HARD! …and if you fail, then take what you learned to make yourself stronger. Don’t be discouraged… You deserve to achieve but it’s starts with what’s inside you!!! You got this!
Each new day brings new challenges, new adventures that can lead us to places we have never been. We can’t assume that the journey will be easy or a piece of cake. We have to understand that there will be times of disappointment and we feel like we fall short. It’s okay. Use your heart guide you and navigate your direction. Even if opportunities are not available to you, look for things that are in your everyday lives that excites you, inspires you, and motivates you. When things get tough, these little items can really help keep your heart focused in the right direction. Then more opportunities will potentially reveal themselves later.
I hope that in someway I have helped you unlock your heart or brought attention to you using it in the right way. One of my personal favorite stories of all-time that shows someone with heart, and his spirit that never gives up even when opportunities are limited and life is bleak, is the story of “Rocky”. While it might sound cliche, I think he embodies what true heart looks like when someone just keeps fighting and never gives up even when things seem impossible. If you don’t that story or haven’t seen it, the first Rocky movie was quite a drama. It actually won Best Picture and was realistic. There weren’t overdrawn Hollywood fairy tale endings or insane special effects, but a realistic story of a man that chose to use his heart. He is a failure for his whole life, has nothing good going for him, and somehow, something changes when he decides to use his heart. It’s quite fascinating.
I believe we all have the choice to use our heart or to not. For those that do, I have this feeling that you will be glad you did.
